When asked, "What does Gracie Barra mean to you?" All of our students would have the same answer: A family. That is not fortuity. It is rather the result of life works of extraordinary individuals like count Mitsuyo Maeda, Carlos Gracie Sr., Rolls Gracie, Carlos Gracie Jr., and people like me who are dedicating their lives to the realization of their dreams and to the continuity of their legacies.
GB Naples is a dream coming true. Opened since September 2008, our school has acted upon the responsibility of being a true representative of the GB Family. We are a growing number of students of all ages, gender and backgrounds, building a diverse brotherhood committed to the life long journey of self mastery provided by Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

~ Professor Paulo Ribeiro (Head Instructor)
Professor Paulo Ribeiro is a 3rd degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt as well as a Black Belt in Judo, he was born in Sao Paulo, Brasil on March 31, 1978. He has trained in many disciplines throughout his life but has always held Brazilian Jiu Jitsu close to his heart. He has traveled the world competing. He moved to Naples fl. after marrying his wife Natalie and shortly after started Gracie Barra Naples, a Black Belt instructed school. It is one of the very few Black belt instructed schools in SWFL period. Professor Paulo really enjoys what he does and wants only to share his passion and lifestyle with others.

Instructor Tony Borro was born in Cuba a long, long time ago. He has been part of the martial arts world for over 3 decades, and not only has 2 black belts in different standup styles but is also a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He is an official Joe Lewis Black belt and is without a doubt the best standup instructor in SWFL. He is our Kickboxing instructor and also teaches the standup portion of our MMA.
Natalie is another instructor here at Gracie Barra Naples and has just recently had her first child (Annabella) with her Husband Paulo Ribeiro. Natalie is a 2nd degree Black belt under Ciro and Eddie Dominguez in American Shuri Ryu, she has another under Mike Allen in American Karate kickboxing and is also a 2nd degree Black belt under Joe Lewis himself under his fighting system. Natalie is also a Purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. She has trained in the martial arts from the age of 7 yrs. old.
